Talent. Ecosystem
Talent. Ecosystem is an initiative we launched in December 2023 in collaboration with the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia, designed to support our most talented students pursuing master’s degrees abroad by helping them apply their acquired knowledge when they return to Serbia. Our goal is to create pathways for the professional development of young people by building a community and providing comprehensive support through partnerships with the private sector, public institutions, and international organisations. Additionally, we developed a mobile app as a digital solution to connect students with the business sector, facilitating their integration and contribution to the local job market.

Serbica
Carta Serbica is a program that, since 2022, has allowed foreign nationals of Serbian descent to obtain temporary residence to live and work in Serbia. As part of the Returning Point’s initiative, a simplified procedure for obtaining temporary residence and work permits for individuals of Serbian origin was introduced. Whether you wish to work, study, enjoy retirement, or are awaiting citizenship, this program provides you with the opportunity to legally reside and work in the country.
Parents’ Corner
The Parent’s Corner is a new platform that we developed last year specifically for returnee parents. After years of working with returnees, we recognized that parents face unique challenges when reintegrating, so we decided to create a space that will make returning to Serbia with children easier. In our Parent’s Corner, you will find all the necessary information, recommendations, and advice, from administrative matters and choosing preschools and schools to ideas for leisure activities with kids. This is your go-to destination for practical information and connecting with other parents going through similar experiences.
Serbian Expat
Meetups
We launched the Serbian Expat Meetups in September 2023, after several years of working with a wide network of returnees, and with the goal of strengthening the connections within our returnee community. These regular gatherings, held four times a year, provide a fantastic opportunity to get to know each other better, network, and create new opportunities together. Past events have fostered numerous new connections and collaborations – Join us, connect with other returnees, and let’s contribute to the growth and development of our community together!
Umrežene
(returnees for local women entrepreneurs)
“Umrežene” is an initiative by Returning Point designed to empower women entrepreneurs across Serbia to turn their hobbies or passions into potentially profitable businesses. The initiative’s primary focus is on networking and connecting returnees with expertise in various aspects of business (such as finance, marketing, and legal aspects of operations) with women entrepreneurs in Serbia. This initiative enables global knowledge to be transferred locally, contributing not only to economic development but also to the creation of a strong support network for women entrepreneurs in Serbia. The goal of this network is to consistently offer opportunities for knowledge exchange through workshops and mentoring sessions. By fostering collaboration with returnees and international experts, the initiative opens access to new markets and connects women who share resources and opportunities, building a sustainable community of entrepreneurs.
