Nurturing young talent has been a core principle of Returning Point since its inception, given that the idea for founding RP stemmed from the first “Talents conference” in 2018. Five years later, through close and long-term collaboration with the reformed Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia, we have jointly launched a new initiative focused specifically on Serbia’s young talents who have been awarded scholarships by the Fund to pursue studies abroad.
In December 2023, Returning Point and the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia jointly launched Talent.Ecosystem – a unique support model for our most talented students, offering them the opportunity to pursue master’s studies abroad, while also bringing the expertise gained during those studies back to Serbia. Our goal is to open new doors for the professional development of young people in Serbia, build a community, and provide comprehensive support. We aim not only to facilitate their studies abroad but also to create conditions that allow them to apply their talents and knowledge upon returning – with the support of the private sector, public institutions, and international organisations.

Talent.Ecosystem Mobile App
As part of the Talent.Ecosystem initiative, a mobile app has been developed as an innovative digital solution for connecting students with the business sector. The app provides continuous support by linking young talents with the industry, facilitating their return and contributing to the domestic job market. In this way, it helps integrate the knowledge and skills they have acquired, strengthening the community and fostering long-term innovation in Serbia.
The added value of the app
The added value of the Talenti.Ekosistem app lies in the fact that it was developed in collaboration with Simply Works, a company led by a group of young students from Serbia. This approach further nurtures talent development in Serbia, aligning perfectly with the goals of this initiative.

Annual Ecosystem Gatherings
Beginning in 2023, this initiative hosts annual conferences that unite all Ecosystem participants, along with key stakeholders from the public, private, and civil sectors. These events provide a unique opportunity for recipients of the Fund for Young Talents scholarships to connect and exchange ideas with those supporting the circulation and repatriation of talented graduates from abroad.
The Fund for Young Talents
The Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia has been awarding scholarships to the country’s best students (at all levels of study) and to postgraduate students abroad. In 2022, the Fund began modernising its support system, building an alumni network, and strategically connecting with the businesses and private sector.
